Why do I need to change my imei.

  1. Changing of imei is not harmful to your phone, it's just a manipulation of a set of numbers.
  2. Changing of imei gives your phone a new identity.For example I may change my android identity to that of BlackBerry, Nokia or any phone without having any of the phones

  4. Changing imei enables you to access and get free data bonus that are not meant for your phone without buying or having the phones only with your android and the simple steps I will teach you below.
Steps to change the imei number.

  1. Your android must be rooted.If you have not root your android, click here to root it once your phone is rooted,go on to the next step. If your Andriod is not rooted, no qualm, it can still work just follow the steps accordingly.
  2. Download this app mobileuncle here or from Google play store.
  3. Imei number has 15 digits.The first 8 digits identifies the phone you are changing the imei to,For example, the first 8 digits of PHANTOM Z is "35370906".The next 6 numbers, you can generate it randomly (any 6 numbers of your choice).For example i choose "1146188".The last digit to make it 15 digits is a "check digit" and you can't put any number there. Just go to this site imei.info click on calculator and input the 14 numbers you have generated.it will help you generate the check digit making 15 numbers all together. Now your imei number is ready.The next step is to make your phone have the imei.
  4. Open the mobile uncle you downloaded. Click on "Engineer mode"
  5. Click on Engineer mode(MTK)
  6. Click on "connectivity" at the top right corner.
  7. Click on "CDS Information"
  8. Click on "Radio information"
  9. Click on "Phone 1" or "Phone 2" depending  the sim you want the imei to have effect.
  10. Click in front of "AT+" and press E,something should appear like this AT+EGMR=1,7,"", click if you are using phone 1 and AT+EGMR=1,10,"“, if you are using phone 2
  11. Enter the 15 imei numbers you have generated inside that two apostrophes.Like this AT+EMGR=1,7,"353709061146188" if you are using sim1 and AT+EMGR=1,10,"353709061146188" if you are using sim2.
  12. If your Andriod is not rooted, just put a space between AT+ and EMGR. If your Andriod is rooted, no need to put a space between AT+ and EMGR
  13. Press SEND AT COMMAND....you will see a AT command sent
  14. Now reboot your phone or on and off Airplane mode and your imei is successfully changed.You can verify by dailing *#06#.
